Central Canada Comic Con 2010

What was it that caused one of the Decepticon's most ruthless soldiers to turn his back on the Decepticon army and what is the ancient secret that lies hidden deep within an alien planet? All this and more as the origin of the newest Autobot, Drift, is finally revealed!

 This series launches on September 9th and will continue as a bi-weekly effort with subsequent releases on September 22nd, October 13th and October 27th. Be sure to head down to your favorite comic retailer to pick these up. Then bring them to The Central Canada Comic Con and get artist Alex Milne to sign them!

Award winning artist Echo Chernik is returning to the Central Canada Comic Con this October!

Echo has over fifteen years of experience as a professional commercial artist in the advertising field, and five years as an instructor of graphics and digital illustration at pratt institute, westchester community college, marymount manhattan and skidmore cci. she specializes in art nouveay influenced poster design, adverisements, package design and bookcovers.

She is a traditionally trained artist - graduate of pratt institute, summa cum laude (presidents award for academic excellence). a traditional background in art focuses on skills such as drawing and painting as well as perspective and color theory. this allows the artist to translate their concept into whatever media best suits the job - resulting in a very versatile artist, who is not limited by any one medium.

Once again this October the local chapter of the Mandalorian Mercs Costume Club, will be attending The Central Canada Comic Con! The Mandalorian Mercs are an officially licensed constume club of Lucas Film Limited(Star Wars) that strives to present movie prop calibur costumes at the many events they attend around the world.

The Vhetin'Ade Clan(the local Mercs Clan) will have an increased role at C4 this year. In addtion to always being generous with their time for free photo oppurtunities this year the Mercs will also being taking part in a couple special events for charity. Fans will have a chance to "Shoot a Mandalorian" with a nerf gun for a dollar, with all procedes going to The Rainbow Society. As well the Merc's will be collecting "bounties" all weekend in the Mandalorian Bounty Hunt event. More details will be available about that at the Con.

Independent comic artist/writer/editor Anthony Hary returns to the Central Canada Comic Con this October. Anthony is from Minneapolis, Minnesota and is currently Editor in Chief for A.N.A Comics, a company known for titles such as Rise of the Independents, Brethren and the upcoming Henchmen. As well A.N.A is currently working on a Swin Suit Comic which will contibute procedes to the fight against breat cancer.

 This will be Anthony's second time at C4 and he promises some surprises this time around including a few Star Wars themed prints exclusive to the Central Canada Comic Con.
