Costume Contest

2010 Central Canada Comic Con: Miss C4 Contest

Friday, October 29th, 6pm - 8pm

Entry Qualifications:

High Quality Costumes related to female superheroes or female super villains.
Anime, Comic Book, Science Fiction, Gaming and Original Characters are accepted, so long as all original characters come with a character sheet.
Hand made costumes are preferred
Bought costumes are allowed, but will be deducted points in judging.

Rules & Regulations

1. You must be female. (sorry, no drag)

2. Entry forms must be completed and handed in by 5:00pm, Fri. Oct. 30^th

3. All contestants must be attending members of the Central Canada Comic Con 2009

4. All contestants must meet backstage at 5:15pm to go over enter and exit instructions and to get their number.

5. Each contestant may only enter one costume into the competition.

6. The Standard PG rule applies, no costume is “no costume”

7. Please no live animals on the stage unless they are service animals.

8. No materials or effects that will leave a mess on the stage or backstage are allowed. No materials that may ruin another contestant’s costume are allowed.

9. All effects must be reviewed by Angelica Northam during the contestant meeting. (Earlier is better)

10. If you have large props, please let us know if you need help getting them on and off the stage.

11. Entries are granted 1 minute on stage.

12. Please be respectful to your fellow competitors and the MC. I’m not perfect and may mess up pronunciations.

2010 Central Canada Comic Con: Costume Contest

Saturday, October 30th, 4pm - 6pm

Entry Qualifications:

High Quality Costumes related to comic books, science fiction, fantasy, gaming, horror, anime and pop culture
Hand made costumes are preferred
Bought costumes are allowed, but will be deducted points in judging
Entrants may choose to enroll in the Exhibition, Youth, Novice, Journeyman or Artisan Divisions
Exhibition Division is only for those who do not wish to compete but would like to show off their costume.
Entrants under the age of 15 are automatically enrolled in the Youth Division.
Entrants who have won Best in Show in the Novice division may only enter the Journeyman Division.
Entrants who have won Best in Show in the Journeyman division may compete again with a different costume. Repeat costumes will be considered Exhibition.
Everyone who enters will be awarded a participation prize.

hey me and a couple of my gfs are new to the ‘con this year and we were wondering HOW you enter? do u have to enter way beforehand or can u do it at the con? and can we do it as a group entry? email me back if possible! thank you everyone!
