Exhibitor Information 2009

  • Exhibitor tables for 2009 are $150 plus GST, Booths are $300 plus GST
  • There are no wall tables!
  • Show Hours are as follows: Friday, October 30th, 5pm – 9pm, Saturday, October 31st, 10am – 6pm, Sunday, November 1st, 10am – 6pm.
  • Set Up Times: Friday, October 30th, 10am – 4pm, Saturday October 31st, 7am – 9:30am, Sunday, November 1st, 7am – 9:30am.
  • Loading Docks: Please be aware there is only so many stalls in the loading dock, please unload your boxes and bring them to your tables, then move your vehicle to a parking stall in the parkade or on the ground.
  • Parking: You can purchase passes at Registration for $10/day for parking in the parkade.
  • Passes: Dealers will receive 2 Passes per 1-2 Tables, 3 Passes for 3 – 4 Tables, 4 Passes for 5 – 6 Tables and 6 Passes for 7 or more tables. If you need additional Passes, they can be purchased from the Registration Desk for $20 Per Pass for the Weekend.
  • Power and Internet is available for purchase on FRIDAY ONLY at the Winnipeg Convention Centre Booth. A regular outlet costs $100 for the weekend, and Wifi access is $105.
  • You are responsible for security at your table during public hours. Off duty Police Officers and Convention Centre Security staff will be present, but they are reserved for major issues, and deterrence of theft. In the event that a situation occurs at your table, please contact Michael Paille, who will then have the Security intervene if necessary. Security is expensive, if you are found calling security for a non issue, you will be charged a fine.
  • Please keep your area clean and neat, please use the garbage and recycling receptacles when necessary, in regards to your booth display, please do not have merchandise on the floor, or hanging off your table, or if you have a booth, do not have heavy items hanging from the pipe and drape provided, do not put tape on the floor, do not attach anything to wall. You are responsible for all damages made to tables, pipe and drape, or Winnipeg Convention Centre Facilities, including their floor.
  • In the event that a war, blizzard, klingon attack, hurricane, tornado, riot, or other such event which compromises use of the Winnipeg Convention Centre on the dates planned for the event, the promoters will reschedule for a future date.
  • Failure to comply with the basic regulations will result in being removed from the convention, without refund.

US / CANADA Border Crossing

If you're coming from the US and you'd like to be an exhibitor at our event, it's actually not that difficult to become one! The following is some information that we've gathered on how to cross the border into Canada. 

  • Step 1: Request the letter from us stating that you are expected into Canada for the event. The border calls this a "temporary importation".  
  • Step 2: Make sure you have your passports, and the wholesale value of all goods you are bringing with you handy at the border. 
  • Step 3: They will ask you to fill out a form, and put a deposit towards 5% GST on the WHOLESALE cost of your items. (Ex. If you are bringing in a T-Shirt that is wholesale $5.00,  Retail $20.00, you pay $0.25 cents GST on it.) 
  • Step 4: When returning to the US, be sure to stop by the Canadian Side to get your refund or pay the difference. 

The portal that will be on alert for US Exhibitor is PEMBINA / EMERSON, NORTH DAKOTA, please be sure to use THIS portal only! 

Returning to the US

For US Exhibitors to return to the US, they must re-import their stock, which will require a Customs Broker. Below is the phone number and website for GHY, the standard Customs Broker in Pembina, Winnipeg, and Emerson.
