Volunteer Info

Are you a volunteer for the 2009 Central Canada Comic Con and want to know more information about what you'll be doing? Check back here to find out about what you'll need to know!

This year we have 9 different stations to fill, and 45 hours we need to fill them for!
Shifts are 4-5 hours in length throughout the 3 days, and range from set up times, tear down times, to open hours at the convention.
There ARE free incentives for volunteers! There is Volunteer Hospo room, the official volunteer t-shirts, and if you work more than one shift at the con you can be eligible for some great prizes at the end of the convention!

As a committee of organizers, we have a TON of things to do! (And there's never enough time or people to do it!) Below are the descriptions of what we still need!

WEB PROMOTER
We need someone who is able to plug us all over the net and more! Download our text info and post it where ever you can, on forums, on directory listings, on your own website anywhere!

VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Positions are filling up fast! Now all we need is you! Offer your willingness, your talents and your energy to the Central Canada Comic Con! Positions will vary, and there are prizes to be won!

EVENT COORDINATOR
What we're looking for is a single person who can be available and present at all of our fringe events. The comic con is one thing, but we are also planning a Night of the Living Dead showing at the Park Theatre on Weds, Oct. 28th, and a Halloween Bash at Gio's on Thurs. Oct. 29th. In addition to this, we have our Wine and Cheese on Friday night, and who knows what else we may add on Saturday night! Our committee members are already swamped with their work, and if someone would like to step in and assist us in coordinating these events smoothly please contact us!
