What are the proceeds going towards? Convention costs?
I thought that’s what the admission tickets were for?
Why would someone donate their things to a place for them to make profit of of? I do not understand, I might be misinterpreting something so please advise :)

C4 tries to be an affordable convention with no hidden fees, such as paying extra to attend a presentation or speak to a guest. Sadly, admission doesn’t cover everything. C4 is a registered non-profit organization, BTW.
Us volunteers raise money throughout the year so we can bring in more artist guests and allow more local talent and exhibitors. Some conventions have few artist tables and local exhibits because they can charge more for large out-of-town dealers to come in and dominate…. which loses the local flavour.
